Good First AK? | A Buyers Guide
Nothing wrong with a used, quality AK as well, as long as it hasnt been butchered or horridly abused. I dont believe Wasrs are worth the current asking price, but they are solid rifles after a quick 20 minute once-over with a file set and a baked rattlecan refinish. The Foxes are quite nice out of the box, however. I would not reccomend Zastavas due to the myriad weird problems ive seen first ...

Anyone install and try one out? Ive been considering snagging one from deeznutstactical for a Vepr ' Micro RPK', but i dont want some wonky unreliable POS, nor 3d printed plastic crap. I'd love to hear some first hand experiences, and would love a reliable FRT in the below rifle for range...
AK mars FRT trigger
The AK Mars might need even more tweaking depending on tolerances. Would be cool to see someone successfully drop in a frt 15 without mods, but I wouldn’t count on it.
KONO FRT trigger is out! | AK Rifles
Report back, if you would, after putting a couple hundred rounds downrange with the new trigger. A lot of vendors seem to be cranking out junk FRT devices just to take people’s money. If someone who actually understands materials and metallurgy would make a good FRT for AK’s then they could make a mint when word spreads.
